We have been sold a faulty bill of goods

We have been sold a faulty bill of goods. There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, there is little more than pain and sorrow and we have been divided by our own arrogance and selfishness. Taken advantage of by those who would further their own with it.

The only universalist ideal is our own desire and ability to blame and subdue the ‘other’ in the name of self-righteousness.

Blame is a fool’s errand for it will always shift like sand underfoot, the target pivoting or attacking another. Stepping up and taking responsibility for self and the solution is bedrock.

Any division smaller than the base identity of ‘human’ is a dominance and control game. Disunity of identity never helps the whole or even the sub-group it claims to serve but only benefits those that perpetuate and profit from discord.

To that end it is time to cast off any identity and identity-politics other than our own humanity by disavowing discrimination, subjugation, and segregation of any level smaller than our base humanity by acknowledging first and above all else that we are humans.

In this dawn of non-human intelligence the concept of fragmented identity will become a liability and the method in which we will be further subdued. This fracture is antithetical to what it means to be human and the power we as a species hold.
